Frozen yogurt can be a challenge for any dieter.It’s hard to avoid your friends pulling into the local Menchies, Yogurtopia, Ikiwi, or Pinkberry in the middle of summer. This also brings up some money issues when you are being charged by the ounce. So, the question becomes: how do you get the most health and flavor for your investment.
The answer is simple.Think of your frozen yogurt like a parfait!
Start with a more nutritious, yogurty base to set your canvass. From there, fruits, nuts, and granola can replace the empty calories found in the various chocolates and fatty sweets with fiber and vitamins. Instead of feeling like you are shoving a candy bar in your mouth, you can vary up your flavors. Every bite will taste a little bit different and heighten your edible experience. Also, In the end, the healthier alternatives also tend to weigh less than thick, dense sugary treats. You will be able to get more for your dollar, too.

My name is Jen and I am a 19 year-old recovering from a rather nasty food addiction and eating disorder. Each time I tried any weight loss routine, I ended up reverting back into my unsafe habits (gaining large amounts of weight and doing awful things to my body).
